The spirit of our Congregation is very much that of our Founders, Visitation Clancy and Bishop Furlong, and that of our Patron, St. John of God.

Theirs was a discerning responsiveness to the Lord's designs, as revealed to them through prayer and in the reality before them.

Today, we too try to respond to the changing patterns and needs of society and the particular demands of time and place.

Our "Spirituality", though not contemplative in style, is contemplative in attitude and action" - Constitutions Article 52.

As we interact with each other and with all whom we encounter, we make hospitality and compassion our special care.
